PREVENT CORROSION ON THE MOST INTRICATE PARTS
For applications involving moderate to severe corrosion, Armoloy of Illinois’ mid-phosphorus electroless nickel can be applied at precise deposit thicknesses of .0002/.003″. A perfectly uniform deposit, electroless nickel coats threads, recessed areas, through holes, curves and sharp angles evenly, maintaining close tolerances without building edges. With its ability to cover intricate parts uniformly, Armoloy’s electroless nickel has proven ideal for applications that require additional protection from corrosion and wear such as Oil and Gas, Chemical Production, Aerospace and Defense and the Plastics Industry to name a few.
For extreme protection from corrosion, Armoloy of Illinois high-phos electroless nickelizing process can surpass 1000 hours of salt fog testing in accordance with ASTM B117.
Featuring as-applied surface hardness of 55 Rc, electroless nickel replicates or exceeds the hardness of most heat-treated tool steels, with absolute adhesion to the substrate as demonstrated by standard ASTM tests and military specifications.
Armoloy of Illinois’ electroless nickel is certified as WEEE/RoHS compliant and is considered safe for food contact by the USDA.
