Electroless Nickel

For applications involving moderate to severe corrosion, Armoloy of Illinois' mid-phosphorus electroless nickel can be applied at precise deposit thicknesses of .0002/.005". A perfectly uniform deposit, electroless nickel coats threads, recessed areas, through holes, curves, and sharp angles evenly, maintaining close tolerances without building edges.

Featuring as-applied surface hardness of 55 Rc, electroless nickel replicates or exceeds the hardness of most heat-treated tool steels, with absolute adhesion to the substrate as demonstrated by standard ASTM tests and military specifications.

Armoloy of Illinois' electroless nickel is certified as WEEE/RoHS compliant and is considered safe for food contact by the USDA.
